SALON POLICIES
New Clients
All new clients are required to have a valid card on file when booking an appointment.
Refunds
I do not offer refunds of any kind on services. Please see the “Adjustments” policy below for more details.
Adjustments
If you are not happy with your hair, please contact me directly within 1 week of your appointment. I’ll be happy to make small adjustments to ensure you love your look.
Any requests made after 1 week will be subject to additional charges (no exceptions).
Cancellations
I have a firm 48-hour cancellation policy.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before your appointment are no problem.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled services to the card on file.
If you need to cancel a Tuesday appointment, please do so by Saturday, as I am not in the studio on Sundays or Mondays.
No-Shows
If you do not show up for your appointment, your card will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total, and you will not be able to book future appointments.
Confirmation Texts & Emails
You will receive a confirmation text or email 3 days prior to your appointment. Please double-check your date and time, and contact me promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid cancellation fees.
Gratuity Policy
Gratuities are never required but always appreciated. You’re welcome to add a tip to your card, though cash is preferred when possible.
A 20% gratuity is standard for salon services, but please know that if tipping isn’t possible for you, I still want to see you and make sure you receive the care and service you deserve.
Inclement Weather Policy
The safety of our clients is my top priority. In the event of severe or inclement weather (such as snow, ice, or extreme storms), Gabriella’s Hair Studio may need to close or adjust appointment times.
If I decide to close or delay opening:
I will contact all affected clients by phone, text, or email as soon as possible to reschedule.
Any missed appointments due to weather-related closures will not incur cancellation fees, and I’ll work with you to find the next available time that fits your schedule.
If the salon remains open but you feel unsafe traveling:
Please call or message me as soon as possible to let me know. I understand that weather conditions can vary, and I’ll do my best to accommodate changes.
I appreciate your understanding and cooperation as I prioritize everyone’s safety during inclement weather.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I become a client?
I’m honored that you’d like to visit Gabriella’s Hair Studio! New clients are always welcome and can conveniently book appointments online.
Where do I park?
If the spot near the orange cones in front of the studio is taken, you may park in front of my window or on the side of the building near the creek.
Please be mindful not to block anyone in.
Can I bring my child or a friend?
Due to the size of my salon, and my desire to provide a calm, personalized experience, I kindly ask that you do not bring guests or children to your appointment.
Do you take walk-ins?
I do not accept walk-ins. All appointments must be booked online for your convenience.
Are deposits or credit cards required to book? Why?
Yes, a valid credit card is required to secure all appointments.
As a small business, my schedule is built around my clients. When a last-minute cancellation or no-show occurs, that time cannot always be filled — which directly impacts my business.
To protect my loyal clients, my time, and my business, a card-on-file policy is in place.
All client data is handled with strict confidentiality and is never shared with third parties.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes! Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for all guests. Please feel free to bring your device or laptop, but kindly keep them on silent or use headphones to maintain a relaxing atmosphere.
Why does pricing vary?
Every head of hair is unique! Pricing varies depending on your hair’s length, thickness, starting point, and desired results.
Please note: due to changes in product costs and inflation, pricing may vary slightly from what’s listed online.
Annual price adjustments take effect on October 1st each year
